When an account is created, an E-mail address and password will be requested; E-mail addresses are only used for logging in, password resets, responding to both user-initiated E-mails and user-requested notifications. Cygnus7 does not send promotional E-mails.
Third parties are used to support in providing services and to help provide, run and manage internal IT systems. For example, providers of information technology, cloud-based software as a service provider, identity management, website hosting and management, data analysis, data back-up, security and storage services. The servers powering and facilitating that cloud infrastructure are in secure data centres around the world, and personal data may be stored in any one of them.
If you enable notifications, a token must be stored to be able to send them - notifications are never used for marketing.
Cookies are used on the site and similar tokens in the app to keep you logged in. Cloud / Server software may also store basic technical information, such as IP addresses, in temporary memory or logs.
Cygnus7’s app collects aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app. No personal data is used.
Any information collected is used to operate and improve website, apps, and customer support.
Personal information is not shared with outside parties except to the extent necessary to accomplish Cygnus7’s functionality. Anonymous, aggregate statistics may be shared with outside parties, such as the Cloud Service provider.

Various security measures are implemented to help keep personal information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS with certificate pinning. Passwords are hashed, not stored, using industry-standard methods.
The user may access, change information or delete their account from the Cygnus 7 website, iOS or Android app.
Cygnus 7 is compliant with the UK Data Processing Regulations (GDPR and DPA 2018) (UK). Personal information will not be distributed to outside parties.
